I just spilled a glass of water all over my digital camera [which I got in May]. It doesn't have a warranty.

Is there anything I can do to get it working again? It turned on but it's all fuzzy. Then it stopped turning on/off, but then it works again.

Help!

  1. The first then you do is take the battery and memory card out of your camera ... turning it on when wet was the worse possible thing to do.  The power may have shorted out parts of your circuit board

Shake it dry and then put it in a plastic storage container surrounded in uncooked rice ... then get it to your closest camera repair shop

  2. Stop pushing the power button - that's bad.

    Remove the battery.

Leave the camera alone for 24-48 hours to let it dry.  Do not try to use a hair dryer.

Try it again after a day or two and if it works, it works.  If it doesn't, it's trashed.

  3. take out the battery and memory card

put it in a bowl of dry rice for 3 days

that will dry all the water

    good luck
