I just started a group in yahoo (giftedchildpdx) but when I search for it, it doesn't come up in results?

I added the group a couple of days ago, so I'm sure it's live. I'm worried that no one will be able to find my group and join it if they're not finding it with search either. What should I do?

what type of membership is it? if you created a closed group, it wont be listed. for open or restricted membership, if you didn't select it to be listed, it wont be. you need to check on both these things with in the management- under group settings click memberships and see-

also under description and appearance- look to see if it's checked to list in the directory
