  1. I have stomach problems - acid reflux and ulcers - and one of the forbidden foods is soft drinks.

It is so acidic that it takes 10 eight ounce glasses of water to neutralize the acid in just one 12 ounce can of cola.  Other soft drinks are less acidic, but still bad.  The best ones are the clear ones - sprite, 7-up, etc.

    Unfortunately for me (I'm a coca-cola addict!)

  2. if your stomach hurts when you drink them. maybe you should stop drinking them again

  3. There is the caffeine factor.  Plus the carbonation of the drink that is negative for your stomach, as well.

  4. That happens to me and so I'm going to attempt to make my own soda and see what happens!

  5. Yes. The thing is you stopped drinking soft drinks so your body naturally began to decrease the urge for soda. Now that you've started drinking them again, you're body isn't used to it so your body's getting readjusted to it.

  6. It's probably the high amount of citric acid a lot of sodas have. If they bother you, maybe you don't need to be drinking them. They don't have any nutritional value and give you a stomach ache. Why bother?

  7. It will stop with continued use. Your body has adjusted to not having it, why go back to drinking sodas. They are not good for you anyway. That is what your body is telling you.
