  1. You shouldn't be worried. You and thousands other kids are just starting football. They all feel the same right about now. Just remember that the more work you put in right now the easier it gets. The hard c**p you're doing right now builds your football foundation. The first weeks of practice are used by the coaches to weed out the bench-warmers/quitters. Don't quit and give 110% and you'll be fine. Coaches love heart as much as they do ability. And if you've got both they drool.

  2. What are you nervous about (serious question)? If you worried you'll mess up or not be successful, maybe that just shows you care...i.e. pride, drive, etc...traits of a good athlete. If your worried you'll have to work more than you want, then maybe not.

Basically we work hard on fitness stuff the first week or two, but it generally gets easier...more drills, more plays...less emphasis fitness.

A good tip for you, if you decide to hand in there, is to not wait until football season to start your conditioning. If you run a little bit most of the year, or at least for a month or two before practice starts, it won't be so bad...and you'll probably stand out for this among the others.

Football has some inherent risks to it, but if you follow what the coaches say, and KEEP YOUR FACE UP, you will greatly minimize the risk of serious injury.

    Good luck...and hang in there!

  3. dont get nervous just get siked so when you get hit it wont hurt

  4. Its only h**l cause its just practice>  Work your butt off, give everything in these practices...listen to your coaches...what they say to you now will translate to success on the field...and in THE GAME...that first game...ohh I envy you son>>>the feeling of gameday is like nothing else out there...  Enjoy this...it can be one of the best parts of your life.

  5. nah, don't be to worried, just go 110% and you won't get hurt

  6. We have all been there especially if this is your first time , just go all out and listen to your coaches, and don't worry about getting hurt and most of all try to have fun.

    Now Go Hit Somebody !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
