  1. I think she should be able to sleep with a blanket now, my daughter is also 8 months old & she likes to pull her blankets over her face, it worries me & i always pull them back down, but she has been doing this for the past few months, as long as she has good head control, she will reposition herself to where she can breathe, but yeah it worries me too & i keep pulling the blanket back down lol, & she is getting into everything now, she has just started crawling to her swing & climbing up into it when she gets sleepy, so cute lol. The same goes for the bumper pads as long as they have plenty of room to reposition themselves she should be ok, but as always if you don't feel comfortable with it yet, just trust your instincts. Best of luck to you & your little one!!!!!

  3. All kids are different. They say not to put them on their stomachs until almost a year to sleep but my girl was 2 months when she had head control and she sleeps through the night on her stomach. She is also with a blanket in the crib with a bumper and she is 3 months old. You just have to make sure there is nothing but the fitted sheet under and the light blanket is on top of her. But thats assuming she sleeps on her belly. Does she sleep through the night?

  4. In the UK we are not told not to put blankets on them...just to tuck them right in and to put baby at the bottom end of the crib so she cannot wiggle under...
