  1. I can't believe someone suggested Hav-a-Tampa!  BARF!  Those are to cigars what Sanka instant is to coffee.

The best cigar I've smoked for the price is 5 Vegas Series A.  They're my second favorite, but for the price you CAN'T beat them!

    Other favorites are:

    Rocky Patel Vintage 1992

    Rocky Patel Fusion

    Cohiba Black

    Hoyo de Monterrey Dark Sumatra

  2. The largest ring size of Puros Indios.  This is a tasty cigar for around $4-$5.

  3. Cigar suggestions are very subjective.

Partagas are very good cigars, but just what do you like about it?  The cameroon wrapper?

The best suggestion is to go to a cigar shop and pick up several sticks after talking to the tobacconist and give them a try.  Once you have more of a background on what you might like, it'll be easier to recommend a smoke,,,,

  4. If you are a casual smoker and don't want to spend $5 plus a smoke, you can try smoking mini macanudos. You can get a 10 pack tin for about $12. And by mini, I think they're "ascot" sized, so they're not super small like a cigarello. They smoke for about 20 minutes and they're mild to medium. I wouldn't consider myself an afficianado like some of the fellas here, but I do enjoy a good smoke.

  5. HavaTampa Jewels.  Smoke the small ones.  The big ones take 2 hours and who has the time.

  6. Romeo Y Julietta's (I think I spelled it right?)

I really enjoy Don Diego's as well.

  7. I like Hoya de Monterey and Ashton.

BTW - Partagas is a fine smoke!
