  1. Make sure you are pushing hard on the strings and closest to the frets, and make sure its plugged in.

  2. be sure to press straight on the string arch your fingers and press in the middle of the fret. than strum the strings.

  3. Im assuming no sound whatsoever..... so.. with that in mind.

    1. Make sure amp is plugged in.

    2. Make sure amp is turned on.

    3. Make sure volume k**b is turned up on the amp.

    4. Make sure cable is plugged into amp and guitar.

    5. Make sure volume k**b/k***s on guitar are turned up.

If all of the above is done,  and still no sound... you have either a defective cable, defective amp... or bad wiring in the guitar.

  4. Maybe its your amp or you aren't plugged in properly.

or maybe you aren't pushing down hard enough.

You have to press down hard enough and when your fingers get used to it it'll feel like you hardly are pushing down on it.

    Get a teacher too!

    it's the best.

make sure he's open to all genres too

  5. Mm...

Maybe you aren't fretting hard enough or... you're not even struming.
