I just started typing with a program about a month ago and can type 17wpm in 10 days i need to type 30 help?

does any one know any tips or website or programs to help me improve my typing asap.i really need this job.help

yes. one thing that helped me have a good typing rate, and this may sound silly, is a lot of chatting.

When i chat with my friends, i try to type fast and with FULL CORRECT WORDS and do not use chat language and within a month or so you will see a definite increase in typing speed.

This also may sound ridiculous, but the following website really helped me quite a bit:

It's your typical "learn-to-type" website, but one thing that helped me quite a bit was the fact that they give you relatively long passages to type, such as excerpts from plays or novels.  This helps you to keep up a decent speed, whereas when you are only typing one or two sentence long passages, as some typing programs will have you do, it easier to get a "burst" of speed. This allows you to develop a good speed and maintain it for as long as you continue typing.
