I just submitted my first job application, help me?

i applied to a movie theater last Thursday for my first ever job, and do i call them or do they call me?

When you left the application did you ask if they were hiring?

That would make a difference if they will be calling you or not.

But... it won't hurt for you to go in and ask for the manager.

Shake the manager's hand and say,

" Hi, my name is ...... I left an application for employment last Thursday. I do not know if you are hiring right now, but if and when you do hire for entry level position, I would like to be considered. I am willing to work hard and I will be an honest employee. " After the manager says whatever, offer a piece of paper already written with your name and phone number on it.
