NyQuil Contains 500mg of acetametophen, 15mg of dextromethorphan, and 6.2mg doxylamine succinate.

Tylenol contains 500mg of acetametophen per capsule.

Should I throw up? Eat? Drink water?

  1. No, no, no...don't do any of the above.

Call your pharmacist, first and check to see if you have overdosed on acetamenophen.  You may still be okay, but call the pharmacist RIGHT now.  If he/she feels that you've overdosed on acetamenophen, then you'll be directed on what to do.

Good luck, sweetie and remember to always read the labels of all cold meds before you take additional pain relievers.

  2. 'You should not take more than 4000 mg of acetaminophen a day. '

It doesn't seem that you've taken enough to overdose.

  3. I usually read in the tylenol label "Do not take any other med containting acetametophen..." personally I wouldn't do that myself, but at least i hope that you ate something so it doesn't hurt you.

  4. no, but wouldn't do it again.

  5. NO you are fine!! You would have to take A LOT more then that to overdose!

  6. no.. thats not even that much of anything.  I have drank half a bottle of nyquil and yes it did make me feel all messed up but it is not worth it. Its much much more worse for you than other drugs that give a better high. Besides you would puke you guts out any ways. But with what you took is fine.

  7. If you can write coherently, there shouldn't be a problem.
