  1. Pretty good and average arent really the same thing. A pretty good score, in my opinion, is anything over 2000. I believe the average is around 1700. With a 2000, you should be able to get into *most* schools. You'll need about a 2200 or above to get into the top ones though. If you're below 1700, then your score is just run-of-the-mill. You can get into a good number of colleges, but its often too low to get into even somewhat selective schools.

  2. What is referred to as the universal score is 1800 or 600 on each section. With that you can get into selective schools and below. With 2000 or more you can get into many Highly selective schools. 2200 and above will get you into just about anywhere including Harvard, Yale, Princeton.

  3. if you're applying to a college, they mostly look at combined math and reading scores. a really good score for that would be anything above 1400.

an average score would be 500s across the board. 600s are pretty good.

  4. In order to get average you have to get half the questions right.  This would give you a 530 reading, 520 math, and 520 writing.  All together that is a 1570.  So I would say that is average.

Anything over 1800 will probably give you scholarship money so I'd say that and above are good scores.  Hope you did well.
