I have a job already, I am a sever at Dennys, and enrolled in college.

What the heck should I do, involving cars, insurance and all the "adult" things?

Is there any type of programs that help young married couples, besides welfare and section 8?

  1. In terms of cars and insurance you are probably best off staying on your parents insurance, if you're a full time student.  If not by a clunker and carry plenty of liabilty insurance, but not collision.  That means if you hit somebody and it's your fault the insurance company will be the fix the other guy's car but not yours.  However since you bought a clunker it won't be any big loss.  And you'll save a bunch on your premiums.
