I just turned 18 on july 4th and applied credit cards and was wondering how long the inquiry will stay?

i applied to a credit card then got denied then applied for another one got denied and then another one got denied and then i got the mail and one of the credit company said we denied it because of to many inquiry. so i was wondering how long it will last until i'll be able to apple for another one?

This may depend on the consumer laws of the country and state or province in which you live.  The credit inquiry information is on your credit reports, and the three major credit report companies in Canada and the U.S. are Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion.  You should be able to find the answer to your question by searching the FAQs on their websites.  To help get you started, some links are provided below.  If you can tell us where you live, someone might be able to provide you with a direct answer.
