Yes. As long as you start your New Line of Credit $200 to $1000, The Key is to pay it on time, spend 20 percent of that amount do not go over. Go to www.Capitalone.com or www.firstpremier.com to open a line or credit.

Sample: Credit $200 then you spend only $20 dollars or $40. Then Pay it off on time

After 3-4 months. Call your credit card company as them for a Credit Increase. When they see that you do spend and pay in time....guess what, you get a new credit line increase $500.00 repeat steps and you will be fine.

Anyways, your answer is yes. Start off your first year with this line of credit. You bank card will not help, but your cell phone bill will...that tells me you just have $115 credit line from comcast...lol I know 'cause i owe them for a stupid cable box they didn't pick up.

You can only get scored after you've obtained somekind of crdit. Like a credit card, or car pmt, or mortgage, or loan. The way to get the better scores is to make pmts in full, & ontime.
