I just turned in my volunteer application for the library.?

Question

i'm so scared that they would call so suddenly and tell me that i'm in for volunteering.

i'm scared that i can't catch up on them teaching me, which shows that i'm slow and dumb.

i'm so quiet and so shy

i don't know what they will tell me to do in the library.

I think it is awesome that you are volunteering and you need to keep in mind that you're a volunteer so they will be more than appreciative of your presence and your help!

I think after settling in you'll find it very relaxing and enjoyable!

Don't worry about it. I volunteerd at a library all summer last year.

Its very simple. as long as you know ur A,B,C's (im not kidding) you will be fine. Get to know the library a little.

You will most likley be re-shelving books and most librarians truely are there to help out. Just ask them a question- it's better than being confuzed the entire time. Good luck!

Don't worry, I volunteer at my library and basically I just sit at the desk and smile at people. I'm painfully shy too :~)

Don't worry.  It'll be fun.  Librarians usually aren't smart asses or aggressive but perfect pacifists.
