I just tye dyed shirts and now my hands are stained with the dye any way i can take it off?

  1. You have to let it wear off. It takes about 2 days.

    Always wear gloves when dyeing.

  2. You just have to wait for it to come off.  How long it takes depends on the type of dye.  If you used something cheap like RIT then a day or two.  If you used something better like procion dyes then about a week.  It will be quicker the more you wash your hands.

  3. Soft Scrub (R) works very nicely.  I use acid dyes (Pro-Chem, Cushing, and such) to dye wool, and this works very nicely to take dye off, even out of my fingernails.  However, next time, wear rubber gloves, some dyes are toxic.

  4. TURPENTINE!! (that thing that removes paints)

  5. well, i use dawn dish detergent when i use my cake coloring. it normally comes of with a few washes, you could use that stuff that they sell at the auto zone,, i don't know the name, but its in a orange container, they use for removing grease.
