it is wayyyy better. i did the exact same thing. now my music is fast when downloading.

yep it is. Frostwire has a safer gnutella network than limewire. Limewire is more liable for you to get hacked/get a virus, etc.

When I used Frostwire it seemed to use way too much memory after it was on for a while.  Both of them will yield different search results sometimes, so I would reinstall limewire.  I usually use Bearshare(5.0, ver 6 sux) to download from the gnutella network.  You may want to check out emule,, edonkey as well.

No it is not really better, the names are different, but they work the same way.

What would make a difference is limewire Pro.
