I just want to know what a mammogram involves and whether it is painful or not!!!?

When getting a mammogram the x-ray machine will compress the breast before the picture is taken. I have had it done many times. Sometimes it is a bit painful, but it doesn't take long so it is easy to bear it. Other times it doesn't hurt at all. It is best not to schedule your mammogram before your period when your b*****s are more likely to be sore. It is really not that bad and it is better to have it done than to risk not detecting cancer early.
