  4. Using a registry cleaner can clean up your computer and then make your computer faster,Why?the reason is that there may be some registry errors and remnant, corrupt files and temp files in your computer to cause "computer slow".

  6. You probably have too many programs running.

First, disable all the programs that run at startup. An quick google search should show you how.

Then hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete together to open the 'task manager' (might take a while if your PC is running slowly). On the processes tab, check which applications are using maximum CPU and maximum memory. If you don't need those applications quit them.

An easy solution if you want to use all the programs you use but just increase speed is to install more RAM. Memory is cheap, and can be installed very easily.

  8. Usually that's a sign of lots of spyware.

  9. Lots of things can cause that.  Including Norton.  (Aside from Hardware problems)

all the programs you install want to start as soon as you turn it on, so you should go through all of them and uncheck anything about "start when Windows starts".  Except your anti-virus!!  And run a scan for Malware.  get rid of all the spyware/adware.  do a "Disk Cleanup".(it's in Accessories, under System Tools)  Check Disk and Defrag will also help. Usually just a good cleaning will help a lot, but sometimes you're better off wiping the drive and starting from scratch.
