  1. Yes I do. For ages people have eaten meat. Chasing and hunting animals. I believe animals are here for us to be eaten. It's a food chain. Animals eat other animals. We are meant to eat meat. I understand that people have other beliefs, but those are mine. I do not believe in killing animals for any purpose other than to eat though.

  2. NO  : )   You can get the answer from http://www.peta.org/ and http://www.goveg.org/ : )

I believe animals have a life, they are just like we human, afraid of pains, death, does not like sufferring.

Who are we to take the life of an animal? Do we human like it if Alien from outspace take our life just like how we treat the animals?  If a human kill another human (life), it is dealth penalty, how about we human killing animals (which is also life).

Don't tell me that we human are more superior and therefore have the right to kill animals for food.  : )

  3. i think it is the right thing to eat meat.i love meat is the best thing out there

  4. In my opinion, there are both pros and cons of it. Animals have rights and they obviously would not want to be eaten up. Just like human beings, they have children too, who suffer because of their parent's death. We are being too selfish. Why do we eat meat and animals an stuff when we can have vegetables and survive just fine on them? Other thing is that animals can go extinct because we eat them.

On the other hand, meat can be important, too. t serves as a fabulous source of high quality proteins, which a single vegetarian food is not able to provide. It contains all the essential amino acids that the body requires. Though meat is rich in nutrients, but, there are certain things that meat lacks in. It doesn't contain any kind of fiber, which helps to keep your digestive system in order. Also it is very high in saturated fats, thus it is recommended to eat meat, but in moderate quantities.

  5. Considering we are biologically omnivores, it's not a question of right or wrong anymore than is breathing air. Because animals can suffer and how we treat them impacts the environment as a whole, I believe how we harvest them is a moral issue.

Clearly we have to been given stewardship of this planet, whether you believe it was handed down from God or stumbled upon by our path in evolution.

  6. I made the choice to stop eating meat- I do believe it is wrong- and for soooo many reasons I'd have to put out all my scientific, nutritional, psychological, ecological, etc. sources out. So to be short:

It's healthier. A lot of people who haven't done a lot of research will tell you otherwise. However, organizations backed by studies encourage it (i.e. the FDA has a helpful site about how healthy a vegetarian diet it, the ADA (Dietetic not Dentistry) is filled with dieticians/nutritionists who specialize in vegetarian diets, the ADA (this time Diabetes) association has published  works on how veganism can aid in diabetes treatment (http://www.diabetes.org/diabetes-researc... etc.).

Everywhere you look, the need for more fruits and vegetables in your diet are being taught from almost every health organization out there. Vegetables, fruit, beans, legumes, and so on, are not generally the cause of all of the current health problems (obesity, diabetes, heart disease, etc.).

Some people will argue that since we've eaten meat for a long period of our history- somehow that is justification. Maybe they don't realize how much we have evolved. As a vegetarian, I don't sit back and think how we should go back to living in huts or using swords instead of guns for weapons. My point is, we have gained a lot through research, our lifestyles have changed (our ancestors at least had to go out, burn some calories, and worked for the life they took in order for them to survive), so embracing a new way of eating only makes sense.

If the health pov isn't enough, consider morality and the fact that there are thousands or more vegetarians on this planet who live (not-so-shockingly) healthy, full lives. If they can live a life doing just as much activity, getting all of the nutrients they need, and just being a good person without the cruelty that is factory farming (most of your steaks don't come from happy little cows eating grass in a field, sorry!)- why would you choose to live another way? Aren't we supposed to be intelligent and compassionate creatures? To take the life of something else (especially when it is not needed because so many of us don't even burn the calories we consume on the daily) a selfish life that will most likely lead to your future health problems?

Take the time to do a lot of research. That is what I did. Schooling helps. Take nutrition classes, talk to vegetarians, read research reports from credible organizations with competent writers. Before someone comes to a good decision, they should look at all the point of views. If you are considering giving up meat, try it. What could hurt? You might actually like it. If you don't, at least you did more than most people- researched, prepared, and tried it.

A lot of people won't like my opinions here. I have done a lot of research before making mine- I hope they've done the same. And of course, these are just *some* of my opinions based on my own research.

  7. it's good to eat meat because it's rich in protein but do not overdo it. Everything in moderation leads a healthy lifestyle.

  8. Yes it is right to eat meat. I don't want to miss out on fried chicken, baby back ribs, steak, bacon...I mean I don't want to eat fruits, veggies, and pasta all day long...

  9. well hun look where u posted your question what do u think we are going to say NO IT'S NOT RIGHT TO EAT MEAT

  10. Yes I eat meat every day of my life. If it wasn't alright why were we brought up to believe it is alright.
