I just want to play animal crossings! what system should i buy?

get the gamecube. the animal crossing for DS sucks balls, stick with the original. shouldn't run you that much since they stopped making gc games awhile back.

Well It depends, There are two systems for the Animal crossing games. There is the Nintendo DS, it is the newer version and portable, but it isn't the orignal version. Then there is the Gamecube, it isn't portable, but it is the original game. It all depends if you will be in one place more than traveling.
