Do you think he will get a title shot? Does he has a chance against someone like Ruslan Chagaev?

  1. The thing about Joe Mesi is that he really isn't a very good fighter.  Even B4 his health problems he just wasn't that good.  He is a heavyweight Arturo Gatti.  Entertaining, yes, skilled, no.

He may as well conduct interviews with the only network he'll be fighting on.

  2. Well he said he will continue as long as he keeps winning and looking good in the performances. He will take on Terry Smith who has never been knocked down or out in a professional fight on April 4. If he gets passed him then he will try a fight against an apparent fading heavyweight like Lamon Brewster or Hassim Rahman. Then a top 10 contender. If he passes all those tests then I'd say he is ready and I would give him as good of a chance as anyone. But I still have a lot of questions about him and if he has any obstacles along the way I predict he will rethink the whole thing and go into politics.
