I just watched a couple of bruce bowen dirty plays on youtube

how can anyone think he's a great defender?! hes a jerk, and a cheater. i mean come on he tries to injure ray allen, steve francis, anthony parker, jamal crawford, steve nash, amare stoudemaire, wally scheerbiak, and even chris paul! hes a shame to the league. its really becoming so annoying know. i mean come on SHANE BATTIER is so much better at defending. spurs fans, admit it, hes just a dirty player.

Yeah but the NBA is not for pansies. It's grown mean playing for a win. Now don't tell me you wouldn't do anything you can with reason to win. I mean he barely gets caught and he's a good defender because people are scared to play him. He gets people with fear.

Bruce Bowen went to my alma mater, Cal State Fullerton.  I knew him as a player, and a finer young man you'll never meet.  He was a good, not great college player.  No one worked harder than Bruce Bowen to be able to have a long career in the league.  He's going to take every competitive advantage to help his team to win.

The NBA is not for children.  This generation is just a little soft.  Look at some tape of Russell, Unseld, Reed, etc.
