  1. They will ask for you bank account number so they can send the money, then they drain it.  Beware of the ones from overseas saying they work for a company or bank and they need to put several million pounds/dollars temporarily in your account and they will give you a percentage of it for your time.

  2. If you received an email claiming that you won any sort of prize or lottery, it is a SCAM.

    Just delete it.

  3. chances are very good this is a scam. did you pay a lotto recently

  4. I highly doubt this is legitimate.  Many typical scams start out trying to convince you that you've won something.

Did you even enter a contest?  No, right?  Delete it.  Ignore it.  Scam.

  5. Where did you win it from?  Be VERY careful, the odds are that it is not legitimate - do not give away any of your personal information unless you are ABSOLUTELY sure and have triple-checked everything.

  6. Its a scam.   This kind of scam is very prevalent, and tricks many foolish people into giving money to them.

Key in the " lottery scam " into a Google search bar, and you will see what scams there are;  chances you will find the email you have received among them.

  7. Do Not disclose any personal Info like bank account numbers or credit card numbers sounds like a scam
