  1. grocery stores will. I thinkkkkkkkk you can only work till 7 at nite though during the week  but i could be wrong.  MANY grocery stores hire people your age for packing groceries.  Fast food places also hire people ur age.  You would need to get a work permit from the school office too.  Geez I remember doin that an it was 16 years ago!  Im 31 now.  Seriously, time flies.  In 15 years from now you will see what I mean!

  2. Nobody is going to hire you until you are of legal age.

  3. When you go to look for a job at almost 15 just think of all the 16,17, and older that are also looking for jobs. You say that

you have a lot of experience, then that's the area you need to look into. Baby sitting is  a good job for someone your age. You will need some references tho. A child is a precious thing and you need a lot of experience.  You will need a permit from school if you are looking for a job in the public such as restaurants. If that's what you want go to these places and talk to the manager. Let them know that you are steady and will be on the job. And then make sure you are. As I said before, there are always others waiting for your job.

I wish you the best of luck.

There is another thing you might do if you can handle it,is house cleaning. It pays pretty good and a good worker can do several houses in a week.

  4. Here is the website about restrictions on when you can work:

    http://www.youthrules.dol.gov/hours.htm

Make sure you also click the 'states' hyperlink on the bottom of the page for your specific state.

Good places for teens to work are:

    retail/clothing stores

    grocery stores

    ice cream shops

Unfortunately I do not live in your area so I can not be more specific. However, look for online help wanted or classified websites. These will list job openings.

Just walk around to all types of retail/clothing/food service places that are accessible to you. Don't ask if they are hiring, just ask for an application. Fill all of them out and hand them in. It never hurts to complete an application.

Oh, and never ever ever accept less than minimum wage unless you are a waitress or baby sitting.

  5. There aren't many places that will hire an under workage person. There just aren't. If I were you, I'd just ask around. See if you have some friends who might know of places. Sometimes if you can network you can find something.

Sorry I can't be of more help. I'm in the same boat you are, although I'm much older than you. Good luck and hope you find something.

  6. yeah i was anxious to work before i turned 16 and there are places that dont really look at age if you have friends that work somewhere ask them to hook you up...try cicis pizza and mcdonalds ...i know mcdonalds does hire 15 yr, olds

  7. Check your stat'e Child Labor Laws. There's not an employer out there that's going to risk a stiff fine hiring a 14 year old. Fact. And "willing to accept less than minimum wage" is a real good way for someone to get in dutch with uncle sugar.

The real world is not always fuzzy warm bunnies and rainbows.
