the spiders aren't that small. they are a good pin-length size but look very dark. can't tell if it's red or brown.

  1. I see them around the outside of my home. They are maroon-colored predator mites. They eat other mites. Probably harmless to humans.

  2. Sounds like a black widow, does it have a violin shape on its back? I mean I'm sure you didnt look really close lol but those are very dangerous. You need some spray, maybe get a bug person out there. Now I have the chills I hate spiders! Good Luck!

  3. that could be a Hobo. They run fast?they can be reddish brown to dark brown. If thats a Hobo  then yes they are venomous.Handle with care.

  4. are you sure they aren't ANTS??

  5. Yes. They are. I was reading a newspaper article in yesterdays Chicago Tribune where these small brown-reddish spiders ate a man on the south side two days ago. Very dangerous. All they really found was a skeleton.
