  1. you are fouling plugs because either the oil gas mixture is too rich, or you are lugging the bike....

  2. REJET

  3. the reason you are fouling plugs is you are forgetting to turn that thing on the right side of the handlebar. stop being a girl and pin it, or get a quad! i hope this information was helpful. i have won many motos on that same bike, it rips.

  4. Sometimes the plugs can foul as you are not riding the bike hard enough.

You don't say how good you  are on a bike and I do know that a lot of beginners have the same problem as they are not pushing the bike hard enough.

Perhaps just try opening the bike up a bit harder on the straights.

And no I am not saying that you have to ride the bike full throttle all the time to stop the plugs from fouling, but if you are not riding it hard enough for the JETTING then it will foul.   If the jetting is too rich for your riding style the plugs will foul.  Simple really

My sons bike and its setting for motocross is fine but if he rides the bike for Supercross the same it will foul the plug as the riding is different.

  5. ride harder  you cant be putting around on those bikes, they are a race bike meant to race

i had a 06 yz250 and it fouled up in the mountains due to me no riding it hard

another reason might be you have the wrong gas mixing ratio

it should ve 32:1 thats what i was running in mine

    ps plugs arn't cheap eh?

    15-20 dollars a pop lol

    good luck

  6. if the bike ran good previously the jetting is probably okay, the next thing is have you redone the top end since you have had the bike? low compression from worn rings or to much piston clearance will cause the plug to foul. two stroke top ends are relatively inexpensive and fairly simple to do.

  7. yah its called give it more gas and stop babying it you need to open it up once and a while, also when you go to start it make sure when it gets running you open it up and get the gas off the plug the bike is a 2 stroke it needs to be cleaned out

  8. Sounds to me like your jetting is wrong. I have been riding 2 strokes since the middle 1970's. Anyone that says you have to run a YZ250 with a  wide open throttle all the time to keep it from fouling spark plugs, does NOT know what they are talking about !!! Most stock bikes come from the factory with there jetting set a little rich to keep the bike from sizing. Check with your dealer or someone that has your bike without your problem and see what there jetting is. Also make sure you keep your air filter clean and oiled. Dirt in your carb is not a good thing.
