  6. No, it's an ad trying to frighten you into buying their dubious product. If you have no anti-virus, try AVG's  free download, and also Spybot S & D, also free, to deal with other malware.

  7. No.

    It's malware.

  8. Have'nt you heard about the Antivirus 2008/2009, Its a Malware that has infected your computer, Do a scan with an antispyware to delete that thing, Do not install if it ask you as it will be hard to eliminate that Malware.

  9. Antivirus2009 or Antivirus 2009, is the latest rogue antispyware program. Antivirus2009 is a clone of the famous rogue antispyware Antivirus 2008 (Antivirus2008). Usually Antivirus2009 can come into user's computer after fake video codec installation that comes with malware, Trojan or even a virus. Antivirus2009 will generate fake system warning popup messages to trick users into punching a "full" version of Antivirus2009.

It is very important to remove all the components of Antivirus2009 and all the malware and Trojans that it might have come with (such as Trojan Zlob, Trojan Vundo). Users should not trust Antivirus2009 and they should remove it as soon as possible from their computer system!

  11. Best not to it could be a virus and it is to risky to install the supposed anti-virus if you want an anti-virus buy from a shop they are very good and even tell you what sites contain virus and which don't.  But using anti-virus can sometimes not allow certain games because the anti-virus occupies too much space.  Hope i have helped.

  12. Antivirus itself IS a virus!

This website will help you to remove it.

  13. Antivirus 2009 is an unwanted program, from the authors of Antivirus 2008 . These applications have resembling interface and "features". After stealth installation, Antivirus 2009 will show tonns of fake spyware\adware detection messages and offers to remove reported threats (after you purchase commercial version). But in real Antivirus 2009 is not a spyware cleaner, it's just an imitation of spyware remover. Antivirus 2009 can also slow your computer and cause system errors and crashes. Remove Antivirus 2009 using manual removal instructions (for advanced users) or removal tool.

  14. No, my pc was infected by this malware last week.

  16. Antivirus 2009 and all it's clones like Antivirus 2008 Antivirus XP 2008 Vista Antivirus are all lying rogue programs do not ever trust these programs or any other program that pops up out of nowhere telling you that your computer is infected IT'S A LIE!  If you have an Anti Virus program only trust your own programs nothing else.

If you don't have an Anti Virus program then I suggest you either buy one that offers full protection or you use free Anti Virus for now that offers limited protection.

    To buy

    Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 8.0

    NOD32

    Bitdefender

    Norton 360

    Webroot Anti Virus

    Try these for free

Chose only one because you can have only one Anti Virus program installed on your computer.

  17. STOP.

    definitely not,

if you have that message then you have already been infected by several trojans,

you need to clear your web browser history and reset it to default.

turn off your system restore as this will be infected too.

the next bit might prove a little difficult.

i know from experiance that super anti spy will remove the trojan droppers ,

you can down load the professional version on a free trial ,

thats if you can get your browser to work.

if not you can use another computer to download it to a memory stick / flash drive.

then use that on your computer to remove the virus.
