  1. You can always ask. And they might even accommodate you. Once. If you are a good customer. But no way will they waive charges if this keeps happening. Learn to manage your account. All it requires is addition and subtraction. It's not hard.

  2. You can ask them if they will waive or reverse some of the fees for you. They will probably want to know whats going on and what made you get overdrawn. If its because you are spending money you don't have then its not likely that they will help you out. But if it was a mistake then they might let it go this once. Ask about getting a line of credit (even just a small one) and having it set up as your overdraft protection. Do not use this as free money. Just leave it there in case your checking becomes overdrawn again. Or start putting a little into a savings account from every deposit and using that as an overdraft protection. This will show the bank that you are making an effort to avoid the problem should it ever arrise again and it will save you all of those overdraft fees. Also if you are not keeping a register (maybe you don't know how to use it. Some people don't!) then ask the teller if they could show you. Most are more than willing to help you with any of your needs. Good luck.
