I keep getting bogus results on yahoo uk?

I keep getting bogus results in Yahoo

Example

serarch term "the works"

Results:

www.directory-THE-WORKS.com

www.site-THE-WORKS.com

www.catalog-THE-WORKS.com

These links dont go anywhere but have the same text as the genuine links.

Does anyone know what they are? Is it some ad hijacking scam gone wrong?

Is it some adware thing on my computer?

"The Works" is a 1984 pop/rock album by English band "Queen" and so on.  No problem here in Eastern US.
