I keep getting dehydrated?

I drink water every day and I still get dehydrated all the time.

  1. There are a lot of factors.  You need to drink plenty of water spaced out throughout the day.  Plus, you may not be eating enough high water content foods, like fruits and vegetables.  If you are eating a lot of meats, breads, and salty or processed foods, you need more water.

    If you live in a hot climate, you may also need more than the usual 8 glasses per day.  If you exercise regularly, you also need more.

    Drinks with caffeine also make you feel thirstier, so colas, coffee, tea, etc. may make you feel dehydrated.


  2. maybe you are eating too many salty foods.

    like chips, pretzels, they make you want water.
