U can block messages on your phone from unknown senders...My phone will anyay..under inbox setup

You can't prevent it unless you prevent receipt of ALL text messages. My phone allows me to preview txt msgs before opening, so I can delete without reading and not have to pay for it.

Find out the URL of the message, or text back to "unsubscribe".  You should get return message with a website to go to so you can unsubscribe all the way.

I had the same problem a couple months ago, and it cost 1.99 every time. Also - ask your provider if they can refund you that money or if they can find out where it's coming from. I use Sprint PCS and they were able to tell me where to send the "unsubscribe" message. It was another 5-digit sms number, but it worked. After sending that message, they responded with a website to go to so I could cancel. I still have the cancellation email in my inbox.
