I keep getting the error Cannot change part of the table in excel 2003?

I can't click on any other part of the table. I tried clicking undo and it says can't undo any suggestions or do i have to start from scratch

  1. Just make sure that worksheet is not protected.  

    In Excel 2003 select Tools > Protection and, if the option to Unprotect Sheet is there, your worksheet was protected and selecting Unprotect Sheet should solve your problem.  

    In Excel 2007 select Review and look in the Changes section.
