  1. if you have system restore on your computer then you should make use of it now and restore your computer to an earlier date (not 100% certain to work). reasons for such ad's might be cause you installed some adware or some program such as Zango( a real headache). just try to find out what adware you might have installed from add and remove programs in the control panel and uninstall it (note:only remove such programs or adware on your computer if your certain it will not have an adverse effect).

But my real advise will be to simply install "spyware doctor"(available from google packs) and let it do its job and as they say, the rest is history

  2. Get Mozilla Firefox with the AdBlockPlus plugin. Internet Exploder is the worse browser in existence.

  3. Download LIFE TIME FREE !!! Norton Security scan and Spyware doctor and sacn your computer with that

    http://www.google-pack.co.cc

Click on "Get essential softwares from google pack"

check the box which software you want and keep a check on Norton and spyware doctor and click Download

    Then click help us improve

then start download and then on the next 2 screens click on RUN

it will download and install the softwares

  4. MESSENGER SPAM

STEP #1,if this does not solve your problem,e-mail me for step #2

do you get pop ups claiming that your computer is at risk?

those are called "Messenger Spam" ! to stop messenger spam:

open start page, open administrative tools, open services

these services are in alphabetical order.you need to close two:

    a] Alerter

    b] Messenger

NOT related to MSN messenger or any other instant messenger

right click each service, click properties, from drop down menu, select disable. another method to deal with those that get through is to copy the pop up address at the top of the pop up or pop under [ starts up AFTER you close a window ]. open internet options [ start--control panel--internet options ]. open content tab, open settings, open enable, enter address, click never, close. open Advanced tab: check to see if pop up blocker is checked, close

    reboot
