  1. Hi there,

If you keep getting Ich in your tank you firstly need to check your water parameters.

You can find that running lean on salt (on the very slight side) can aide in fish not getting white spot, but its not particularly effective in your case. Your corals prefer to be run slightly salt rich.

If its on your fish, give them freshwater baths, and if its possible (Ie, water cond. are fine and tankmates are compatible) you can try a cleaner wrasse. Theyre an adorable, handy little tankmate that has evolved to feed on parasitic infections.

    Best of Luck,

    Meg.

  2. Do you mean Ich?  No lowering the salinity isn't going to help.  You need to use Kick ich from Ruby reef.  That is the only way other than running a UV Sterilizer that will rid your tank of ich.

Salt water ich isn't the same as fresh water ich.  Do not lower the salinity it really won't help.  Buy Kick Ich.  It is safe for all inverts.

  3. if your tank is glass just take a razor and scrape it off, its not worth killing your expensive coral when you could just buy a razor and spend a few minutes scraping it off
