I keep having dreams that I fall into places that are very dangerous?

I think my dreams mean more than just falling; because the actual FALL is not what is so scary. It is where I always WIND UP after I fall.

In one, I fell off of a bridge into a nasty scary river and got sucked into the dam.

In another, I fell off of a roller coaster and was left hanging holding myself up.

In another, I fell off of a sky bucket into the lake underneath and got pulled in by the reel that powered the buckets.

Nothing particular is going on in my life that I am worried about, aside from all the usual, normal stuff. But I've had these dreams for around a month and now they have started to come at least every other night, and I often have the same one many times.

What do you think this means?

  1. wow this never happened to me before

but i have nightmares that i get kidnapped and stuff like that

Well first of all do you eat junk food or sugar before you sleep?

that could be a reason why you have dreams like this

    hope that helped!

  2. Recurring dreams usually means there is an issue that needs to be solved.  It doesn't have to be a horrible problem, but just a simple issue.

The nasty river would represent negative emotions and maybe someone one is pulling you into 'their' nasty problems.

The roller coaster sounds like your friendships were going good and then bad so they left you hanging.

The last dream seems to be similar to the first.

    Hope this was helpful

  3. Basically "falling" means you are uncomfortable about something changing in your life. You go from something you are familiar with, to something new (like starting a new job).  The part with the water or the roller coaster, means you secretly think you will get in over your head, do miserably at your new job, education, or socializing with different people. Most people have these concerns when starting something new for the first time.

  4. I think You're afraid of falling into the wrong hands, or the wrong situation, where You wont be able to defend Yourself or help Yourself get out of it.

  5. You mentioned that the falling isn't that frightening than the landing- twice of the same sort. I have noticed..a dam, a lake powered by buckets and once of just hanging in mid air.1st you mentioned "nasty scary river" river may mean "life" the 3rd case you mentioned "sky bucket -lake -pulled in- reeled in -powered buckets" again could mean "life - this time as a like supportive means" eg family friends etc you could feel that you may be situations that need decisions that may have different opinions or ways or force. The 2nd case may indicate your journey of life again it feels like it is exciting yet uncontrollable, you feel as though you sometimes need to hang in there or deal with your own life on your own...I hope this helps.

I dont suppose I could get the best answer could I?

  7. I've heard some new age dream theorists say that falling in a dream is when the soul is coming back from an out of body experience.  You may be having "bad landings" on your return.
