I keep having strange dreams about my girl friend? What do they mean?

She's a girl friend of mine, but ever since I gave my friend a card for her birthday, I've been having really weird dreams about her. Dreams about her taking my hand in marriage, running into her at various places like the mall, the supermarket, and dreams of us dating. I also have had nightmares of her death and of us fighting.

I really do care and love her, but could these dreams actually mean somthing?

I think you might have some conflicting feelings about her you are trying to work out.  Have you told her how you feel?  Have you admitted it to yourself?

Either you are beginning to obbsess over her and are considering stalking her, or you need to just get off your fence and ask her out.

These dreams are probably just a result of the psychological circumstances surrounding giving your girl friend the card. Giving her the card for her b-day was probably a tense event for you (unsure of whether or not she'd accept it gracefully, or would you be embarassed?). I'm assuming everything turned out fine, but, maybe not how you were expecting (b/c really I think you seek to be w/ her).

If things hadn't turned out as well as you had hoped (she hadn't jumped into your arms & confessed her admiration of you) this may be why you are having dreams of fighting & her dying.

Either way the fighting and the dying are symbolic of unresolved tension - you like her, does she like you? I say you need to jump out there and let her know how you really feel. I'm sure she's already got a good guess that you like her, and if she's still your friend, I say - go for it.
