okay well first heres a look at what i ate today:

breakfast; 3/4 cup oatmeal with a little skim milk and non-fat yogurt

lunch- turkey sandwich and grapefruit

snack-2 celery stalks with penut butter

dinner- chicken salad and skim milk

then i went to a open house at school came home and without thinking grabbed a handful of chexmix... ugh. and i was already at 1400 cal then i ate that

so i did cardio for 25 min, then i did dance dance revolution intil it said i burned 100 cal. (dont know how accurate it is)

i feel so guilty for the chex mix and i know it was no more than 200 cal.. how can i stop this obsessing... its worries me ):

and how did i eat today?

  1. Chex mix is actually not too bad for you!  It is pretty low in calories, and chex has a lot of fiber and whole grains in it.  It's better than eating just one cookie, so think of it that way.

  2. dont stress it out. your doing ok.but eat more protein

  3. That's actually a pretty good diet, I haven't seen many people on here with diets that contain nearly enough protein, but yours has a decent amount.  Although, you probably could get more, for breakfast you could add a boiled egg, and for a snack you could add a protein shake or something.  I think you ate fine, chex mix isn't that bad, really.

Everyone should have a "cheat day" now and then.  Usually when people only eat dull foods all the time they tend to binge, so eating some junk food now and then is a good thing to keep you from really messing up.

1,400 calories is good, I wouldn't go below that, you can consume even more calories.  You also did exercise, which is good, so you had a pretty healthy day.  Don't worry.

Also, you don't have many healthy fats in there, try and get some nuts and seeds in your diet, or an omega-3 pill.

Edit: Don't listen to the myth that is constantly being told, that, "eating after 7 p.m. makes you fat", or "eating before bed makes you fat".

That's a common myth. There's no valid, scientific evidence to prove it, and if anyone wants to try and prove me wrong, go ahead. The only correct recommendation is that your carbohydrate intake should be lower during the nighttime.

    Best of luck!
