they say when you see 11:11 to make a wish, its supposedly some kind of good luck superstition thing, whenever i happen to catch the time on 11:11 i always make a wish or say a prayer.

This has been happening to me (and many other people) for years.  10 years ago, there was only 1 web site devoted to this, and now there are dozens.  Just search Yahoo or Google for 11:11 and you will see.

I not only see it on clocks, but on gas pumps, my radio, odometer, on signs, and lots of places, even though I am not looking for it.  It always catches me by surprise when it happens.

I always notice the clock at 11.11, I can remember first noticing that I noticed it about 5 years ago in a different job, I used to think it was a bad omen and something would happen on the 11th of the 11th, hasn't yet though....

Still notice it all the time too.  How odd, someone else as crazy as myself, LOL!

Happened to me yesterday.  Humans like to create meaning or patterns from randomness.  I think it has to do with our desire to maintain control in our lives.  How many times a day do you look at the clock?  11:11 stands out as "memorable" because of the unique pattern of all ones.

It probably doesn't help that 11ish is getting close to lunch time for most of us, and we tend to glance at the clock more often.

I'm really not kidding but I also seem to see this time a lot.  In fact I was talking to my girlfriend the other day about the same thing.  If I just randomly look at the time, it's amazing how many times it says 11:11.  Sorry but I can't offer any explanation but it happens to me quite a lot.  Perhaps we have something in common like being left-handed or something.
