  1. Ok... you're panicking and that is not good for the baby.  Rearanging a room and trying to make more space is stressfull enough, even more so in your condition.  What you must understand is that that lovely little baby is going to be your number one priority, not the clothes.

Because of money problems, I have also been keeping clothes aside with the idea that I may wear them later.  I never do.  The best way to get started is by asking yourself..."when was the last time I wore this?"  If your answer is more than a year ago, get rid of it.  I promise you... once you get started you won't want to stop.  Imagine a nice room, fresh and clean with less stuff in it.

Anything that needs washing, throw it in a corner and start the washing machine up.  Thinking about it is not going to get the work done quicker... trust me.

Use the space under your bed for storage.  Get some thick garden plastic bags, the really big ones and start putting the clothes you want to keep but don't wear in the bags.  The clothes must be clean.  Don't just stuff them in the bag, fold them once, and layer them.  If you fold them and lay one item of clothing on top of the other, side by side, the result will look like  a suitcase.   Don't make the pack too high or it wont slide under the bed.  Once the bag is filled to the right proportion, seal it with some thick tape to keep the dust out.

You say you're living at home.  Can't someone from your family help you?  Painting is hard work for someone who's ready to have a baby.   Ask someone to help you put up some shelves.  You can get really cheap shelves and the more you put up, the more space you'll have.

Remember one thing.  Music always helps us get the job done better and quicker.  Whenever I have to clean the house, the music always give me the rhythym and puts me in a much better mood for cleaning.

Good luck.  Just remember to stay calm.

  2. Settle down, it's okay.

You need to take charge and be responsible. Go through all of your clothing. Things that you have not put on in the past year... get rid of it! Honestly, i know you've heard it... donate or trash it! But! That's the only way to get ride of it! Donate the clothing. And get rid of other stuff that you won't use anymore, okay? Once you have a clean room, you'll feel 100% better. Don't be a pack rat, once you throw the stuff in a black trash bag, you won't even remember it.

  3. Obviously the key is to get rid of the clothes. You say you don't have a lot of extra money so this is what I suggest. Go through the clothes and divide them into 5-7 "outfits" and sell them in lots on ebay. That way you get rid of the clothes and make some extra money! Just make sure to take good pictures of them (clean and pressed) and then put each lot in a bag so that you don't have to try and figure out what you did with it when it sells! Just and idea - there is also craigslist that you can sell them on in the same manner!

Or have some of your friends come and help you, tell them they can each take a bag of clothes if they will help you get everything sorted and put away!

    Hope this helps!
