Question:

I know Chelski signed Shevchenko from AC Milan for about £30m, but what have AC Milan just re-signed him for?

Every news story I've read about the transfer, pointedly omits the amount that AC Milan have paid for him. Has anyone read anywhere what it's cost them to get him back?

  1. Hasn't he gone on loan?

  2. The Special One never wanted him at Chelsea, that was Abramovich. Knowing that the manager didn't want him wouldn't have done much for his confidence. Ancelotti is a different proposition. He wants Shev in his side. Watch him this season. He will be far better than he was at Chelsea.

  3. I know - 5million punds a goal!!

I thought the amount was undisclosed.

Milan have made a mint on him - he was a great player in his time at Milan first time, his record proves it but i just don think the premier league was for him.

  4. in Chelsea he never played...now he is returned in milan and this is good

  5. Resigned him for his pride as he is a flop in English football but top scorer at Italy, Milan wants him to regain his scoring touch

  6. "Sheva returned to AC Milan on a 12-month loan last night, two years after joining Chelsea for a British record £30.8m." the sun says.

the reason why he returns is because he has never suited chelseas play. but he is perfect for milan!

    hope i helped

  7. he is still a chelsea player on loan to milan, milan pay his wages and at the end of the 12 months have the option to buy, because of his age they will not pay anywhere near the £30 million they sold him for. the advantage for chelsea is he cant play against them and if he does find form his price will increase and paying £150,000 a week for a misfit is a saving of over £6million this coming season.

  8. Different managers have different taste in footballers the new AC milan manager most properbly likes him and the new chelsea manager properbly doesnt really like him ><

  9. My understanding was the amount was undisclosed.  Maybe it is because Chelsea are embarrassed about how little they have received for him!

  10. He has gone back on a season long loan.

  11. over rated player glad to see the back of him -- ac milan will be laughing all the way to the bank chelsea are fools
