Question:

I know I have fell short of my obligations but, do you continue and do not learn from my mistakes?

Do people justify their rightousness by putting down others or do they learn from others of what their obligations really are? God bless everyone.

  1. I don't believe that righteousness is justified by putting down another.  Perhaps you meant to say that their own unrighteousness seems to be justified by putting another down.  It doesn't really work that way of course, but somehow people seem to feel better about themselves when they find fault with others.  However, that feeling can be deceptive because they are actually sinking further into a wrong path.

    People who seek righteousness admit their own mistakes and learn from them, seeking repentance. They try to encourage others rather than attempt to control them by tearing them down.  Satan is referred to as the "accuser of the brethren".  That is not a role that Christians were meant to take on.

    And so much bad in the best of us

    That it doesn't behoove any of us

    To talk about the rest of us

  3. Most people can't even learn from their OWN mistakes - much less the mistakes of others.
