and there is a lady who wants me to watch her two kids under the age of five on the weekend, I have no problem with this, except I do not know how much to charge. She will only pay me what I ask.... I do not want to be greedy, but I do not want this to be like ok what am I doing this for? I would like to know a reasonable amount to charge her for Sat-Sun 4am-2pm for two children under the age of five. PLEASE HELP!!!!!! The more the answers the better PLEASE..... also need to know by tonight 8pm az time

yes I am feeding them, I do not know this lady. She is a friend of my brothers. My community is Small no joke look it up Florence, Az.

ok so I went to https://www.care.com/visitor/captureSitterSearch.do and the average amount they are charging in florence is about 10 an hour so I am thinking if I tell this lady $5-$7 an hour do you think that is reasonable price? Would you take your children to me, if I charged you $5-$7 an hour?

I think you can charge $8 , if  you want to be nice . taking care of a child is big responsibility. And starting at 4am is even harder.  Good Luck :)

I know this is later than what you wanted, but I would think most of it would come down to how much harder for you will it be?  Will your husband be there to help?  Will your own children help?  And how much will you have to provide? I would make sure your costs will be covered first and then increase it a couple of dollars.

Definitely charge the woman $10 an hour. This is someone you don't know and you don't want to start off a bad relationship because you feel too guilty to charge enough. Babysitting is tough work--even if you are home already--and doesn't pay enough! Besides, you are giving up your weekend-and your sleep--so charge her appropriately. Don't charge at the low end of the spectrum--you're just asking for trouble!!! If you realize how much it takes out of you and your schedule and later want to raise prices, it's going to be much harder. Besides, if the AVERAGE price is $10--that's what you should charge.

I would charge at least $10/hr for 2 kids....  You are getting up at 4 in the MORNING on your WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!
