I know LT and AP are the top two rated backs but......?

could Westbrook actually be the steal of the top 5 because he is prob going to be the main weapon of the Eagles and the type of offense they run?

i think he could be a steal that possibly drops a little out of the top 5 in some instances.  He has a rep of being injury prone, where not too many people will risk such a high pick on someone with that label.  He is a yardage monster and as long as he doesnt lose out on goalline touches could easily be the third best back available.  If they happen to start out badly and bench McNabb to get a look at the future with Kolb, I think his value could take a hit drastically......  With so many two headed RB teams and so many RB's with injury issues, I would happily take him at 3.

Yes Westbrook could easily be a steal, especially when you consider some teams will be going after Manning, Brady, and Moss early in round one.  Another factor is that people still think Westbrook is injury-prone, even though he played in almost every game last year (15 out of 16, I believe).

You're correct, Westbrook will be no higher than the 3rd RB in almost every fantasy draft (at the highest).  I would have no problem selecting him at 3, although I think in many cases he may fall farther (dropping to the 6-8 slot isn't out of the question).

Absolutely!!  He will catch a lot more balls (90 last year) than anyone and if he stays healthy, he will gobble up yards on the ground too.  He is a great RB to have, especially in leagues that give points for catches.  Draft him with confidence!!

if it is a ppr (points per reciption) league then i would have Lt then westbrook becasue Taylor will be the third down back for the vikes. and even if it isnt a ppr then westbrook is still a steal at 3 4 and 5 because yes he is phili's offense

if his knees hold out he's every bit as valuable as those 2...  he is a 'keep your fingers crossed' most every week
