I know USA is winning in olymic medals overall but.........?

I think all the participants and their countries actually win!

It is not all about the Gold, or even the number of silvers and bronzes that matter.  It is about playing together.

Overall medal count doesn't come into the picture if you ask me: so if Phelps won 8 bronzes instead of 8 golds it would be an equal achievement? hmmm i didn't think so either

Plus, China are only 3 medals behind USA in the overall medal count

ohhh, believe me, the u.s.a. medal count is going to be way higher than chinas after track and field. China is good in gymnastics, but they aren't very fast.

Yes, I think we will win most medals overall.

But I agree, China is kicking butt in gold medals. I heard they beat the US in most Gold Medals ever won by a hosting country!

Your so right about China. I think it will still continue to be close but since the track and field has started then we'll definitely pull ahead. But we might not beat them gold medal wise though.... We'll see :)

China will of course win in Gold.

USA will be ahead in the overall.

To me, it doesn't really matter. I love watching sports and I love watching athletes from all over the world compete.
