Question:

I know a 700+ is good for the SAT US history subject test-but what are considered the best, average, and poor?

I got a 560... and I feel that's low. Because everyone else seems to be getting 680 or higher.

So if you could tell me what the ranges of the poor, average, and good scores are that would help ease or stress me. Either way I appreciate it.

Thank you.

  1. a 560 puts you in the bottom 36th percentile using the data from 2006-2007 test scores

  2. well i think if you manage to get a 600+ on any of the subject tests, then that's pretty good. 700+ is excellent. somewhere between 500-600 must be like average and anything lower is poor.
