I know a PFC in the Marines gets paid $1509.90?

but is that every 1st and 15th of the month? or in total per month?

  1. This is per month.  They will get paid 754.95 on the 1st and 15th


  2. that is total per month.  Paid 1/2 on the 1st and 1/2 on the 15th.

  4. $1509.90 is the base pay for an E2/PFC in the marines. Base pay is the amount you get paid before taxes on a monthly basis. So the amount you stated is his/her monthly take home pay before taxes.

  5. Its on the first and 15th. Unless it falls on a weekend or federal holidat the it is the last working day before then. And you have to subtract taxes from that and cut it in half and that will be your total for 2 weeks unless you fill out the form to get paid on the 1st of every month
