she needs a bra if b*****s are developing. if they are not, then she does not. she needs to ask her mother if she is ready for a bra or not, not get a friend to ask yahoo answers.

It depends on how much she is developing. She should speak to her mom about it, if she can't speak to her's maybe she can speak to yours or another woman that she looks up to. But Mom should be first to be asked.

Girls are developing earlier and earlier.  She might need one if she's already started to develop, or she might just need a little cami underneath her shirts.  Usually it's the nipples sticking out that you want to try and cover up.

I don't think I actually needed a bra until I was 14 or 15, and I have sightly above average b*****s (D cups).  

However, everyone develops differently--if her b*****s are large enough that she feels the need for some extra support, she could need a bra.

It's not uncommon for a girl her age to maybe need a training bra.  They are similar in construction to a sports bra and can help her feel less embarrassed about her development.  Tell her to talk to her mom about this.  She will understand and be able to help.

Has she talked to her mom about it? I am the mom of a nine year old who does wear a bra. Only because her poor little bumps poke out from most shirts. Last year she practicly begged for a bra and I got her a few and let her wear them once a week to get used to it. Now when she comes home from school as nighttime approaches she asks "Can I take off my bra now?"

People Develope b*****s at different time, It is normal for her at this age. If she feels like she needs it or if she is ready then go for it!

i was about 9 when i needed my first bra, but i was overweight and i think that contributed to it.  i'm now 26 and i guess fully developed and i'm barely a b cup.
