Question:

I know a little Korean girl, 4 or 5 years old and she keeps getting her head shaved?

I've noticed her head is a little larger than normal. Her mom had been suggested to have an abortion because of birth defects. Now she acts like a 2 year old would instead of someone who should be entering kindergarten. She still sucks on her thumb constantly and cries very easily. Yes, she is potty trained and she has a selective vocabulary of only a few words like milk or cereal. Her hair loss is not due to cancer - I know this because as soon as her hair started growing back, she had it shaved again. Is she sick or is this a custom? I don't understand, but it would be rude and thoughtless to ask so maybe I'd get some answers here.
