  1. Organix Baby food manufacturer) produce a list called the 'dirty dozen' about various additives

    Their website has other info

  2. MSG for sure, limit High Fructose Corn Syrup, artificial sugars, and sodas. I know MSG adds salt which isn't good, high fructose corn syrup is a reason we have obese people, artificial sugars can give people migraines and stomach aches, and sodas carry empty calories. What I would recommend is getting most of your foods from the perimeter of the grocery stores not in the center where most of the chemically altered food is. Good luck! =]

  3. I have heard MSG Mono sodium Glutamate I think it stands for b/c it's not iodized it's useless to our bodies unlike regular table salt that has the iodine we need.

I guess little baby's dont get salt at all but for older kids

  4. Aspartame is used in tiny amounts and breaks down into two naturally occurring chemicals, aspartic acid and and phenylanaline.

Phenylanaline is present in breast milk. Aspartic acid is present in many natural foods.  So my question is why are you so concerned about aspartame?

The are carcinogens which you should be concerned about.  All food cooked at very high temperatures (crisps, crispbreads) or which is burnt will contain  carcinogens.  Sodium nitrite which is used to preserve sliced meats, ham and bacon is also a cause for concern.

Make sure all salad is properly washed before use as it will be contiminated with bacteria.  Children are far more likely to be seriously damaged by infections than chemicals in food.

  5. Yes. In gum and diet sodas:

    Phenylalanine - Aspartame

Phenylalanine is a hidden danger to anyone consuming aspartame. Most consumers don't know that too much Phenylalanine is a neurotoxin and excites the neurons in the brain to the point of cellular death.

ADD/ADHD, emotional and behavioral disorders can all be triggered by too much Phenylalanine in the daily diet. If you are one in ten thousand people who are PKU or carry the PKU gene, Phenylalanine can cause irreversible brain damage and death, especially when used in high quantities or during pregnancy. Phenylalanine is 50% of aspartame, and to the degree humans consume diet products, Phenylalanine levels are reaching a dangerous peak.

It is important to learn about the ingredients within your foods, especially isolated amino acids like Phenylalanine. They are in combination within nature for a reason - they don't belong in isolated form for the healthy human diet.

Unless you like wasting money on water and sugar, avoid homeopathy nonsense.

If you don't believe me, Google it.

  7. You can give your baby flouride, in fact it is good for your baby. Most city water has flouride in it and so does nursery water that you buy at the store for those people who have well water.  Flouride has been prevent tooth decay and should be used whenever possible.
